The single most important aspect of our industry, Health and Safety legislation is complied with in accordance with HSE guidelines via a system of constant training of both operatives and managers at all levels. CSCS accreditation is standard throughout the workforce with risk assessment led specific training undertaken by all relevant personnel. TW Site Managers hold CITB Site Managers Safety Certificates and First Aid training courses as standard together with assorted project related safety supplements.
Planning and programming tools including procurement scheduling, design and construction programmes and short term look-ahead schedules are operated on all of our projects. Weekly sequence planning maps are also used as both visual aids and for ease of sub-contractor co-ordination.
A business management system is operated in line with BS EN ISO 9001:2000 tailored around each individual project in order to ensure constant monitoring of all elements and processes throughout the construction process. Constant site and system based checking of construction standards, both at design and development stages, leads to effective quality control and the speedy conclusion of defects at completion stage.
It is essential that our staff are fully aware of their responsibilities within their chosen discipline and accordingly we ensure that they receive all necessary training to both complete their duties and further develop themselves within the organisation. Should members of staff wish to progress in a particular chosen field (such as rail works), every effort is made to provide the appropriate training and experience.
